The following are events during the school year that the South View Parent Council sponsors or assists school staff with.

Event	Explanation
Get Connected Day	SVMS staff and parents in processing beginning of the year forms and registrations, August
6th Grade Grandpersons' Day	Grandparents/special elders of 6th graders are invited to SVM.
Book Fair	At Barnes and Noble, Galleria
WinterFest	Celebration in January or early February
Coffee with the Principal	Mostly in combination with SVPC meetings, these coffees give parents a chance to talk with the South View principal.

There are several other activities and functions that the SVPC participates in. There is a need for parent volunteers to assist with all of these functions. Volunteer now!
